Substance Use Disorder Programs

Medically Managed Intensive Outpatient Program - Substance Use Primary Program (ASAM Level 2.7)

ASAM Level 2.7, known as Medically Managed Intensive Outpatient (IOP), is a treatment level for substance use disorders that provides at least 20 hours per week of structured outpatient services, combining clinical addiction counseling with medical oversight for managing withdrawal symptoms, biomedical conditions, and co-occurring psychiatric needs, without requiring 24-hour inpatient care. This level is designed for patients who need intensive support but can safely reside at home or in a supportive environment.

Intensive Outpatient Program - Substance Use Primary Program (ASAM Level 2.1)

ASAM Level 2.1, known as Intensive Outpatient Services (IOP), is a treatment level for substance use disorders that provides at least 9 hours per week of structured outpatient programming for adults (6 hours for adolescents), emphasizing counseling, education about addiction and mental health issues, and skill development to support recovery, while allowing patients to live at home without the need for 24-hour supervision or intensive medical management.

Mental Health Programs

Intensive Outpatient Program - Mental Health Primary Program

A mental health primary Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) is a structured outpatient treatment option focused on addressing primary mental health conditions, such as depression, anxiety, or bipolar disorder, without the need for 24-hour inpatient care. It typically involves 9-15 hours per week of therapy, including group sessions, individual counseling, skills training, and medication management, allowing participants to maintain daily responsibilities like work or school while receiving intensive support.

Virtual Intensive Outpatient Program - Mental Health Primary Program

A virtual Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) delivers the same level of structured mental health treatment as traditional IOPs but through online platforms, enabling participation from home via video sessions. It generally provides 9-20 hours per week of group therapy, individual counseling, and educational components, ideal for those with scheduling constraints, remote locations, or mobility issues, while maintaining clinical oversight and peer support.
